Job Role: General Manager – Alley Cats Pizza

Rate of Pay: Up to £48,000 per annum (Inclusive of tronc)

Position Overview:

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful ongoing operations of our Kings Road location. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, from front-of-house operations to staff recruitment and training.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient service
Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and operational goals
Provide hands-on leadership and support to front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Uphold Alley Cat's Pizza's standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service at all times
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community to drive business growth and brand loyalty

Requirements:

Previous experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry
Strong knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine, previous experience working in pizzerias is preferred but not necessary
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and remain calm under stress
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to other Alley Cats Pizza locations as required
