We’re on the lookout for an experienced Sushi Demi Chef de Partie to join our fantastic team at one of our largest restaurants with a 500 guest capacity - Chotto Matte Manchester.


About the Sushi Demi Chef de Partie position:


As a Sushi Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the smooth running of the Sushi section while developing your skills under the guidance of experienced senior chefs. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a high-energy, premium kitchen while contributing to dishes that showcase the creativity and precision of Chotto Matte.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting Sushi dishes to Chotto Matte standards
  • Support your Sushi Chef de Partie and Sushi Sous Chefs in a variety of tasks
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team during busy services
  • Help with stock rotation, section cleanliness, and organisation
  • Learn and develop new skills under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sushi Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a premium or high-volume restaurant
  • A good foundation of cooking skills and eagerness to learn more
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Approachable, engaging, and a natural team player
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality
