Position Overview:


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Host to join our team. As a Host at Angus Steakhouse you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. You'll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional greeting
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating to maximise table flow
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
  • Provide guests with knowledgeable information about the menu and restaurant
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and table turnover
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to deliver a seamless dining experience
  • Create a positive first and lasting impression through exceptional customer service


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Host in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
