Our venues are immersive spaces where vibrant cuisine meets energetic beats, offering guests a unique and engaging dining experience.</p><p>We are looking for a talented Junior Sushi Chef to join our fantastic team in our brand new concept kitchen in Battersea.</p><p>About the role:</p><p>As a , Junior Sushi Chef you’ll be an strong part of the kitchen team, supporting the delivery of world-class sushi to our guests. You’ll work closely with senior chefs to maintain exceptional standards, uphold consistency, and ensure every plate reflects the artistry of Chotto Matte’s cuisine.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prepare, plate, and present sushi dishes to Chotto Matte standards</li><li>Uphold food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times</li><li>Work collaboratively with the Sushi Head Chef and wider kitchen team</li><li>Maintain section mise en place, stock control, and cleanliness</li><li>Support smooth service during high-volume operations</li><li>Contribute ideas for innovation while respecting brand standards</li><li>Train and support junior chefs within your section</li><li>Demonstrate precision knife skills and expert handling of raw fish</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or CDP in a premium or high-volume restaurant</li><li>Exceptional knife skills and a deep understanding of sushi preparation techniques</li><li>Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, sushi rice preparation, and raw fish handling</li><li>Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences</li><li>Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Sushi Chef De Partie: 2 years (required)</li></ul><p>Work authorisation:</p><ul><li>United Kingdom (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
