Join us in creating unforgettable moments for our guests in an environment where excellence is the standard.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong> </p><p><br /></p><p>We are seeking a passionate and experienced Host to join our team. As a Host at Steak and Company, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. You&#39;ll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional greeting</li><li>Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating to maximise table flow</li><li>Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area</li><li>Provide guests with knowledgeable information about the menu and restaurant</li><li>Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care</li><li>Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and table turnover</li><li>Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to deliver a seamless dining experience</li><li>Create a positive first and lasting impression through exceptional customer service</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Host in a fast-paced restaurant</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to remain calm under pressure</li><li>Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail</li><li>A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>A free staff meal on shift</li><li>A starting salary of up to £16.21 and a raise to up to £17.21 after probation inclusive of tronc</li><li>50% discount on food and drink for you and 3 guests</li><li>Career progression in a fast-growing company</li><li>Access to a retail discount app full of high street brands</li><li>Partnership with Hospitality Action – a platform made to support hospitality workers</li></ul>
